Solution oriented,

We almost adopt it.
Ayşegül Zengin graduated from Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Law in 2009. In 2011, she started her professional career as a lawyer in Izmir. During this time, she provided legal representation and consultancy services to both domestic and international clients, many of which were companies.
In 2013, she filed a lawsuit claiming that the membership fees demanded by websites where consumers expressed complaints about brands were unjust. In 2015, the decision from the Court of Cassation (Yargıtay) confirmed that the demand for membership fees from brands by consumer complaint websites constituted unfair competition and was contrary to the law, setting a precedent. This precedent led to new regulations regarding consumer complaint websites in 2022 through changes in the regulations.
In 2015-2016, Zengin received English and Legal English education at Cambridge Stafford House and Cambridge Law Studio Schools and continued her life in the United Kingdom for a period.
In 2017, she established Zengin Law and Consultancy and started working with many companies and startups, primarily in the fields of technology, software, and e-commerce. Zengin has also been a speaker and trainer in various projects and programs and has acted as a mentor in several national projects.
While e-commerce law, startup law, and information technology law are her main areas of expertise, she also provides legal consultancy services to many companies during their compliance processes with the Personal Data Protection Law, assisting them in their digitalization efforts.
In 2020, with her initiative called e-hukuk, she provided opportunities for many young lawyers and legal professionals to receive education in emerging legal areas and encouraged them to specialize in these fields.
Under the concept of Catching the Age – Law, Zengin continues her professional career with a solution-focused, fast, and practical approach and is also pursuing a master’s degree in Law and Technology at Tallinn University of Technology.
